うまい仏

The artist Kosha Kawachi’s work is dedicated to the carving of Buddha images onto snack sticks, called Tasty Bars, therefore the name “Tasty Buddha”.

His art was inspired by the Enku’s images of Buddha and became a collaborative art mixing popular snack with Buddhism.

This work of art is not just a food but also a “Tasty Buddha” to go into your belly. Up to that, this is art.

See the whole process from the making to the consuming.
