The new Doraemon movie "Stand by Me Doraemon" – have you seen it yet?
It's a really moving story, and the fact that this is the first 3D film of the series, makes you see the Doraemon and Nobita-kun's characters in a new light.
Instead of taking motion capture of actors' movements, the animators create manually each movement of the character and repeat the scene until it's completed.
This making video was released without gathering much attention. For us at Makings.jp it is a pity to miss it out, so here it is:
